libgpod4-nogtk software package provides library to read and write songs to an iPod, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgpod4-nogtk
libgpod4-nogtk is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgpod4-nogtk package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgpod4-nogtk *
You will get with libgpod4-nogtk package name, version, architecture and description in a table
